Robert Pollock

Chief Executive Officer, Cambridge City Council

Robert has been Chief Executive of Cambridge City Council since April 2021. Prior to that he held leadership roles at the United Nations in New York, in the civil service with HM Treasury, and in the third sector at Social Finance.

Robert is also a board member of New Local, a think-tank that champions ‘community power’; Chair of Greater Cambridge Impact, a social investment fund supporting youth social mobility and preventing homelessness; a member of the government’s Advisory Group for Social Impact Investment; and a Board member of the Cambridge x Manchester innovation partnership.
