Anna Rule

Director, Private Markets and Real Assets, Railpen

Anna is Director of Private Markets and Real Assets at Railpen, where she leads the delivery of long-term growth strategies across illiquid assets, including property, infrastructure and private equity.

She developed Railpen’s long-term property strategy and investment capability, helping to support the internalisation of the property portfolio in 2017. Her role has since broadened to cover Railpen’s full £9bn private markets portfolio, including leading Railpen’s strategy for investing directly in high-growth UK companies to support innovation and long-term value creation.

Anna joined Railpen in January 2017 and brings nearly 30 years of investment experience. Prior to Railpen, she was a Senior Director and Fund Manager at Aviva Investors, managing a range of direct and indirect property portfolios.

Anna holds a first-class BSc in Land Management, the Investment Management Certificate and FCA-approved person status.
