Rebecca Porter is Chief Executive of Cambridge Science Centre, an independent educational charity connecting young people and communities with the science and innovation shaping their world. Under her leadership, the Centre is developing an ambitious model that brings together industry, academia and communities to ensure more children can see and access the opportunities created by the UK’s innovation economy.

Rebecca is passionate about the role of early engagement in building confidence, aspiration and a more inclusive future talent pipeline. She is particularly interested in how Cambridge’s extraordinary innovation economy can translate into meaningful opportunity for the children and communities growing up alongside it.
