Jessica Gardner

University Librarian & Director of Library Services, University of Cambridge Libraries & Archives

Dr Jessica Gardner is the University Librarian for Cambridge. She began her appointment in 2017, following previous roles at the Director of Libraries at the Universities of Bristol and Exeter. She represents Cambridge on the Libraries Alliance, a partnership working to strengthen collaboration across the library sector for the benefit of all their communities.

She is a Trustee of the Friends of the Nations’ Libraries and of the Sir Winston Churchill Archives Trust at Churchill College and a Fellow of Selwyn College, Cambridge. She holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Leeds.
