Councillor Cameron Holloway

Leader,  Cambridge City Council

Cameron Holloway is the Leader of Cambridge City Council. His priorities are tackling poverty and inequality, protecting and restoring nature while also addressing the climate crisis, and empowering and investing in all our communities. His previous work on the Council has focused particularly on preventing and relieving homelessness, tackling crime and anti-social behaviour, and supporting residents’ health and wellbeing.

He previously spent six years working in prison education, providing courses and information for people in prison to be able to gain skills and qualifications. Cameron also has professional experience in publishing and translation, and he has a degree in German and Russian from the University of Cambridge.
