Vanessa has decades of experience helping founders create and scale technology companies. Throughout her career she has sat at the intersection of ideas and their development in a variety of roles spanning media, politics, technology, business, academia and the law.
Vanessa was a co-founder of Invoke Capital which created some of the UK’s highest-growth businesses such as Darktrace and Luminance, among others. She is very interested in new initiatives in health tech, particularly women’s health, and continues to advise and mentor companies through Deep Tech Labs, as well as independently.
She holds a number of board positions and is a Fellow of the Cambridge Center for Science and Policy.
