Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and research-led impact, Pashiini has built a career supporting early-stage ventures and scientific innovation. With experience spanning innovation, strategy, and operations, both as a founder and an operator, she understands the challenges of translating complex research into meaningful outcomes.
She holds a PhD in Chemistry from Imperial College London and has worked across academia and biotechnology. Before joining Innovate Cambridge, she worked at a London-based biotech start-up, where she supported business development and operations. In this role, she helped secure non-dilutive grant funding, supported a successful equity raise, and led on IP and communications strategy. The role provided her with a hands-on view of the intersection between science, business, and operations, building processes from the ground up while growing both the company and its community. Earlier in her career, she explored founding a MedTech venture during her PhD, which shaped her interest in start-ups and the pathways that help research deliver real-world impact.
Across all her roles, a common thread has been her focus on entrepreneurial ecosystems and helping research move beyond the lab. At Innovate Cambridge, she works to build the partnerships, systems, and communities that allow innovation to thrive.
