Anna is Director of Private Markets and Real Assets at Railpen, one of the UK’s largest and longest established pension funds, supporting 350,000 members from the UK rail sector and an additional 150,000 members from energy and infrastructure companies. Anna is responsible for implementing Railpen’s long-term growth strategies across illiquid assets. She developed Railpen’s long-term property strategy and property investment capabilities, enabling the internalisation of the property portfolio during 2017. Since then, Anna’s role has expanded to incorporate responsibility for all of Railpen’s private market investments totalling £10bn.
She joined Railpen in January 2017 and has over 25 years’ investment experience. Before joining, Anna held a position as a senior director and fund manager at Aviva Investors where she was responsible for a range of direct and indirect property portfolios. Anna has a first class BSc degree in Land Management, holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a FCA approved person.
