The Glasshouse Membership

Membership Information  

Our goal is to create a physical community that connects the innovators, founders, enablers and scale-up businesses in Cambridge with investors and support they need to start, stay and grow in Cambridge. As such our membership criteria is strategically designed to support the people at the heart of that activity. 

  • Innovation Member
    You are the founder of or in the senior leadership team at a high-growth start up or scale up company with innovation at its heart. This means you are using technology or science to benefit Cambridge, the UK and the world. If you’re right at the beginning of your journey we ask that you have a registered company and a company presence online.
  • Ecosystem Member
    You are a leader in an organisation designed to support the growth of Cambridge innovation by supporting innovation entrepreneurs. including education and academic institutions, organisations designed to facilitate inward investment to Cambridge, organisations partnering with other regions and local or national government.
  • Investor or Business Member
    You are an investor (angel, corporate, VC or PE) and make investment and partnership decisions about research and innovation-driven businesses based in or moving to Cambridge. You can be based anywhere in the world and need a base in Cambridge when you visit. 

 

Member access 

Members simply sign in at ground floor reception who will ask for your name and look at your photo (provided by you at application) to check the membership database and let you in. Come on up to the first floor where your coffee awaits!

 

Opening Hours 

Protected community drop-in hours will be 8am-2pm every day. From 2pm private events may take place that close the whole space to anyone not invited to the event. You’ll be made aware if this is going to happen in advance via a regular newsletter and area of the website that will detail the events happening at the Glasshouse and how they effect you. 

 

Booking events space and the boardroom

Community Code of Conduct
The Glasshouse collaborative community space where creativity, knowledge-sharing, and mutual respect drive innovation. To ensure a positive and productive environment for all members, we’ve established this Community Code of Conduct. How to apply

To apply to be a member simply fill out the form below. Every application will be read by the Innovate Cambridge team and as long as you meet the criteria described above we’ll approve your application. Please bear with us as we receive a large volume of applications every day.

 

Please Note: The Glasshouse will close for the holidays on December 20th at 4pm and reopen at 8am on the 6th January. Any membership applications and event bookings made during this time will be processed from 6th January onwards.
